We’re bringing the magic of Pet Fest to Kalispell for the very first time—and you’re invited to be part of this exciting new tradition! Pet Fest is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates the incredible bond between pets and people. Expect a day packed with adorable adoptable animals, fun activities, contests, giveaways, tasty food, and so much more!

Meet Your New Best Friend
If you’re thinking about adding a furry friend to your life, you won’t want to miss this. With over 7 local shelters and rescue groups attending Kalispell’s first-ever Pet Fest, you’ll have the rare opportunity to meet a wide variety of adoptable pets in one place. Come early to take your time visiting with animals, hearing their stories, and speaking with the amazing people who care for them. Even if you’re not ready to adopt, your support helps raise awareness for their life-saving work.
Bring a Bag of Pet Food!
We’re collecting unopened bags and cans of dog and cat food to help stock the shelves of the rescues and shelters participating in the event. Your donations make a direct impact on animals in need throughout the Flathead Valley and beyond.
Giveaways, Raffles & Resources
Explore a wide variety of booths offering free samples, prize raffles, and helpful pet care resources. Whether you’re looking for new treats, training advice, or just want to spoil your pet a little—there’s something for everyone.
Food Trucks & Eats
Refuel while you roam! Enjoy local food truck fare and take in the sights, sounds, and fun of Kalispell’s newest summer event.
Spotlight: The Wacky Wiener Dog Dash
One of the most crowd-pleasing moments of the day—our Wacky Wiener Dog Dash kicks off at 2:00 PM and promises laughs, cheers, and an overload of cuteness. Whether you’re entering your speedy pup or just watching from the sidelines, it’s a guaranteed highlight of the day.
