Heidi’s Kitten Rescue is a small nonprofit formed to give abandoned and homeless cats and kittens a second chance. The Missoula Valley Corgis, a corgi community, is making the world a better place, one corgi event at a time. The Furry Farm Rescue
The Furry Farm Rescue was established in 2017 to serve North Idaho and surrounding vicinity. The mission of The Furry Farm Rescue is to reduce abandonment and euthanasia by providing a safe, structured, loving transition to a forever home. The farm hands bring rescue and animal welfare together with a focus on our local community needs. Furry Farm concentrates on those most at risk, be it their medical needs, background, or baggage. They are not a high-volume rescue, instead specializing in doing acute care, long term recovery and rehabilitation. The rescue is volunteer only, with all animals in the care of foster volunteers at their residence. Life Savers Animal Rescue
Life Savers Animal Rescue (LSAR) is proud to be a sanctuary for local stray dogs, abandoned dogs, owner surrendered dogs and dogs rescued from kill shelters in California and Texas, as well as dogs from an overcrowded shelter in Browning. As a foster based rescue with no physical facility, they rely on a network of amazing foster homes to house their dogs. The rescue’s operations are funded largely by donations from supporters and fundraisers, as well as a small number of grants. LSAR has a volunteer board and no paid employees, so one hundred percent of all donations go directly to the dogs in their care. Dogs for Better Lives is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit with campuses in Central Point, Oregon and Falmouth, Massachusetts. Formerly known as Dogs for the Deaf, they have been training and placing Assistance Dogs to people across the United States since 1977. The organization is the oldest provider of Hearing Assistance Dogs in the U.S. Dogs for Better Lives’ mission is to professionally train dogs to help people and enhance lives while maintaining a lifelong commitment to all dogs they rescue or breed, and the people they serve.
