đž Dog Rules & Registration
Bringing Your Pet to Pet Fest? Hereâs What You Need to Know.
We love welcoming furry friends to Pet Festâbut to keep everyone safe and smiling, we ask that all pet owners follow these guidelines:
â Vaccination Requirements
To help keep all pets and people safe:
- All animals attending Pet Fest must be up to date on vaccines, including Distemper, Parvovirus, and Rabies.
- If your pet isnât current, donât worryâyou can get them up to date at the free vaccination clinic happening during the event, provided by the Humane Society of Western Montana.
- While proof of vaccination is not required for general entry (Caras Park is a public space), it will be required in the event of an incident, such as a dog or cat bite.
- We recommend that all pets wear tags showing current rabies vaccination status.

Important Rules for All Pets
- All pets are welcome at Pet Fest!
- Puppies under 6 months must be carried or kept off the ground for their safety and the safety of others, as they may not be fully vaccinated.
- All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Leashes must not exceed 4 feet in length.
- No retractable leashes, pleaseâthey can be a safety hazard in crowded areas.
- Dogs known to be aggressive toward people or other animals are not allowed.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets – bags and waste stations will be available throughout the park.
- We recommend bringing no more than one dog per adult handler to help ensure a fun and controlled environment.
- Any accidents or incidents must be reported immediately to Pet Fest staff.
Thank you for helping us keep Pet Fest safe, clean, and fun for everyone – two- and four-legged alike! Caras Park gets busy, so please do your part to manage your pet responsibly and respectfully.
