Heidi’s Kitten Rescue
Heidi’s Kitten Rescue is a small nonprofit formed to give abandoned and homeless cats and kittens a second chance. They are a foster-based rescue based in the Stevensville/Missoula area that places felines into their forever homes. All the animals in the rescue’s care are fixed and vaccinated prior to adoption. AniMeals No-Kill Adoption Center and Food Bank
AniMeals is a feline shelter that accepts strays, surrenders, and transfers from animal control and other shelters locally and regionally. Each year, they provide services for approximately 480 cats and kittens in their facility and address medical needs as they arise. AniMeals also offers a free pet food bank, low-barrier medical fund, and microchipping for cats and dogs. Missoula Valley Corgis
The Missoula Valley Corgis, a corgi community, is making the world a better place, one corgi event at a time. The social club welcomes all corgis and their families in Northwestern Montana and pride themselves in being the most active and engaged corgi club servicing the Missoula, Flathead, and Bitterroot Valleys. The Furry Farm Rescue
The Furry Farm Rescue was established in 2017 to serve North Idaho and surrounding vicinity. The mission of The Furry Farm Rescue is to reduce abandonment and euthanasia by providing a safe, structured, loving transition to a forever home. The farm hands bring rescue and animal welfare together with a focus on our local community needs. Furry Farm concentrates on those most at risk, be it their medical needs, background, or baggage. They are not a high-volume rescue, instead specializing in doing acute care, long term recovery and rehabilitation. The rescue is volunteer only, with all animals in the care of foster volunteers at their residence. There is no “farm” or building to come visit animals at this time and all of services start with the application process found on their website.
