Show Facility: Caras Park is located in Missoula, Montana and includes covered grandstand seating, open stage area and covered pavilion.
Show Hours, Dates & Times: Saturday, August 15, 2009 - 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Set-up: Saturday August 15, 2009 - 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Vendors must arrange for dollies and carts. In the interest of public safety, all exhibits
must be setup and vehicles vacated from the show areas prior to opening to the public. Vehicles may not enter or exit the show grounds during
public show hours but can pull vehicles up to assigned space to load and unload during set-up times.
Move-out: Saturday, August 19, 2009 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm No removal or dismantling of exhibits or exhibit materials will be permitted before the
end of the show. Any vendor who leaves the show early will not be allowed to participate next year. Carts are not allowed in the aisles until after
5pm.
People's Choice Award: Attendees of Pet Fest will be given the opportunity to vote on the best designed exhibitor booth. After the votes are
counted, the winning booth will receive a Pet Fest 2009 trophy.
Booth Construction: Professional signage is required at booths (no handwritten signs). Banners may be used but cannot hang on pavilion walls.
You may utilize a 10' x 10' canopy for hanging banners and signage, even under the pavilion.
Event Promotion: Pet Fest will be well advertised for 3 weeks prior. Total promotional budget is projected to be $15,000. The event is expected to
draw 500+ consumers, based on the attendance of the last three years.
Electrical Service: 500W Electrical Service is available upon request in limited locations around the Pavilion on a first come, first served basis.
Parking: Free for all attending the event. In the interest of public safety, exhibitors must park in the public parking lot and may not re-enter with
vehicles during show hours.
Water: available in and near the public bathroom near the pavilion. Pet pools are provided for the use of pets only.
- Deluxe Booth Space is located under the Pavilion which will be enclosed with side walls. Deluxe booths include table and chairs.
- Outdoor spaces must provide your own table and/or chairs. Rain or shine, no refunds, a canopy or tent is required.

2009 Pet Fest Exhibitor Conditions & Regulations
1. Once the Show Grounds has placed the exhibit space at the disposal of Marketplace Media (Management), Management shall make available
to the applicant for the period 8am until 7pm on the day of the event.
2. No signs or advertising devices shall be displayed outside booth space other than those furnished by sponsors and allowed by Management.
Displays blocking the unobstructed view from space to space are prohibited. No displays or signs may be affixed to building walls or posts.
3. All live exhibits must be confined in suitable containers or fencing that provides a clear and unobstructed view of the contents and live exhibits
therein. Exhibitors assume all liabilities and/or and obligations whatsoever due to damage caused by animals, faulty displays, improper
containers or anything brought by exhibitor.
4. Exhibitors shall abide by and observe all laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Montana and the City and County of Missoula, and
departments thereof and all rules of the Show Grounds.
5. Once a contract is accepted, exhibitors shall not be entitled to a refund of any part of any fee should the exhibitor for any reason be unable to
exhibit, or cancel any space previously contracted for at any time.
6. Management reserves the right to alter or change the space assigned to an exhibitor, to alter or remove exhibits or any part thereof, including
printed materials, product, signs, lights or sound, and to expel exhibitors or their personnel if their conduct or presentation is objectionable to
other Show Participants.
7. If the show shoul be cancelled by Show management for circumstances beyond it's control, i.e., Act of God, Act of War, government emergency,
labor dispute, or the unavailability of the expo site for any reason, Show Management will refund each exhibitor their paid booth space rental fee,
less a percentage equal to the costs incurred by the Show Management to date.
8. Neither the Management, nor any of their officers, agents, employees or other representatives, shall be held accountable or liable for, and the
same are hereby released from accountability or liability for any damage, loss, harm or injury to the person or any property of the applicant or any
of its officers, agents, employees, or other representatives, resulting from theft, fire, water, accident or any other cause, and neither the
Management nor the Show Grounds will obtain insurance against any such damage, loss, harm or injury.
9. Exhibitors and participants agree to indemnify, defend and protect the Management against, and hold and save the Management harmless
from any and all claims, demands, suits, liability, damages, loss, costs, attorney fees and expense of whatever kind or nature which might result
from or arise out of any action or failure to act of the applicant or any of its officers, agents, employees, or other representatives,including but not
limited to claims or damage or loss to property, or from or out of any damage, loss, harm or injury to the person or any property of the applicant or
any of its officers, agents, employees or other representatives.
10. Any photos, video, or audio taken at the Show are the property of Pet Fest and Marketplace Media and can be used by show management for
any form of advertising or promotion in the future.
YES! You can bring your leashed pet!
1. Animals should be over 4 months of age, not in heat, sociable, non-aggressive, healthy and well groomed. All animals must have current
vaccines.
2. Pet Fest does not assume any responsibility for lost or stolen animals at the show, that in bringing your pet into Pet Fest, you understand that
you are doing so at your sole risk, cost and expense and any harm that comes to the animal shall be solely your responsibility; and in attending
Pet Fest with your animal(s) and should any injury occur to any person, other animal or property as a result of the behavior of your animal(s) at the
Show, whether expected or unexpected, regardless of the stimulus for the behavior (i.e., animal’s spontaneous conduct, the conduct of another
animal, the conduct of any person or thing, or a combination of any of these), you will be solely liable and be held responsible for any injury or
property damage that results there from (including reasonable attorneys fees) and that you will indemnify, hold harmless, protect and defend
Marketplace Media and Caras Park and/or the Missoula Downtown Association, for any and all claims of liability and damages from any injury,
property damage, loss, claim, or expense resulting from the behavior of your animal; and to report any and all such injuries immediately to Pet
Fest Management.
3. All animals must be leashed, (6 foot maximum), caged or fully contained at all times (except during competitions or exhibitions on the stage).
4. One pet allowed per handler (must be over 16) at all times while out of cage/pen.
5. Participants shall abide by and observe all laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Montana and the City of Missoula and County of
Missoula, and departments thereof and all rules of Caras Park.
6. Caras Park has designated areas for dogs to be walked. Please be considerate of our venue and clean up after your animals. Trash
receptacles are provided around the area. Participants are required to clean up all animal messes with a plastic baggie and/or paper towel
immediately after an occurrence.
7. Management reserves the right to expel participants or pets if, in Management’s opinion, their conduct or presentation is objectionable to the
public.
8. Any photos, video, or audio taken by management are the property of Pet Fest and Participants’ image or likeness can be used by show
management for any form of advertising or promotion.
